Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
All Things Simplified LLC builds local-first software, and this policy reflects that. The short version: our apps keep your data on your device, our website does not track you, and the only personal information we hold is what you give us to buy a license or to get in touch.
Our approach
Most of our privacy posture is a property of how the software is built, not a promise on a page. Your mail lives in a database on your own disk. On-device AI runs on your machine. The apps talk to the services you choose (your mail host, your RDP gateway) directly, with no relay of ours in the path, so there is no copy of your content on our side to lose, sell, or hand over.
Information we collect
When you use our apps
Essentially none of your content reaches us. The apps do not require an account with us and do not send us your mail, files, connections, or credentials. Your credentials are held in your operating system's keystore (Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows), not by us.
When you visit this website
The site ships no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers, and its fonts are self-hosted so your browser makes no request to a font provider. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to serve and secure the site. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
When you contact us
Our contact form collects the name, email address, optional company, and message you submit, and delivers them to our own mailbox through our email provider (Resend). We use that information only to read and reply. We do not add you to a mailing list or pass it to a CRM.
When you buy a license
Purchases are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the billing information needed to take payment (such as your name, email, billing address, and payment details) under its own privacy policy, available at paddle.com. We do not see or store your full payment card details. When your purchase completes, Paddle notifies our licensing service, and we store the limited information needed to issue and support your license: your name, your email address, the product and plan you bought, and its dates. We use that to generate your license key, to re-send it if you ask, and to keep your subscription entitlement current.
How we use information
- to provide the software and issue, renew, and recover your license;
- to answer messages you send us;
- to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations relating to a sale;
- to keep our website and licensing service secure and working.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use your mail, files, or other content to train AI.
- We do not track you across the web or run advertising pixels.
Cookies
Our marketing site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Paddle's checkout may set cookies that are strictly necessary to process your order securely; those are governed by Paddle's policy.
Who processes data for us
We rely on a small number of providers, each handling only what its job requires:
- Paddle: payment processing, tax, and receipts as Merchant of Record.
- Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of our website and licensing service.
- Resend: delivery of the email your contact-form message becomes.
How long we keep it
We keep license records for as long as you hold a license and as long afterward as we need for legal and accounting purposes. Contact-form emails stay in our mailbox until they are no longer useful to keep. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, reach us through our contact page. For information Paddle holds as Merchant of Record, contact Paddle. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Children
Our products are made for professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as our products and providers change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and significant changes take effect when posted.
