Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and All Things Simplified LLC ("All Things Simplified", "we", "us") for our software and websites. By downloading, installing, or using any of our apps, or by buying a license, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. What we provide
We build native desktop software: ATS Mail, ATS Remote, Vantage, and Redline, along with any future products we add. The apps run on your own computer. Where a product is described as local-first or never proxied, that describes how it is built, and it is not a promise that any specific third party you connect to (a mail host, an RDP gateway) behaves the same way.
2. Your license
When you buy a product you receive a license to use it. The license is personal to you or to the organization that bought it, and it is granted for the plan you purchased:
- Monthly and annual subscriptions license the app for as long as the subscription is active.
- One-time (lifetime) purchases license the app permanently and include the updates released during your update window, as described on the pricing page.
A license names the specific products it covers and the number of seats it grants. A license for one product does not unlock another, and a license is issued to you as a signed key. Keep it private. Sharing your license key so that more people or machines use the software than your seats allow is a breach of these terms.
3. What you may not do
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the software except as these terms allow;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with license verification or attempt to forge a license;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or license notice;
- use the software to break the law or to infringe someone else's rights.
4. Purchases, payment, and Paddle
Our order process and payments are handled by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy from us, your contract of sale for that transaction is with Paddle. Paddle collects payment, charges and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt, and "Paddle" or "Paddle.net" is what appears on your card or bank statement. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy, available at paddle.com, also apply to your purchase.
Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars and may change over time. A price change never affects an order already placed or the rate of a subscription already running, until that subscription renews.
5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your payment method on file, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the account or receipt link Paddle provides, or by contacting us. When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops renewing. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Updates and support
We release updates from time to time. Subscriptions receive updates while active. One-time purchases receive updates released during the update window described on the pricing page, and the app keeps working after that window; you simply stop receiving new versions unless you renew or upgrade. We provide reasonable support by email through our contact page. We do not promise a specific response time or that every request can be resolved.
7. License keys and offline verification
Our apps verify your license on your own device, without a login wall or a required connection to us. That means the software keeps running even if our services are unreachable. It also means you are responsible for keeping your license key, which we can re-send to the email address on your order if you lose it.
8. Intellectual property
The software, its source, and all related trademarks and content are owned by All Things Simplified and its licensors. These terms grant you a license to use the software, not any ownership of it. Your data stays yours: nothing here gives us a license to the mail, files, or other content you work with in the apps.
9. Third-party services
The apps connect to services you choose, such as Microsoft 365, an IMAP host, or an RDP gateway. Those services are run by others under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Our websites and checkout also rely on providers such as Paddle, Cloudflare, and our email delivery provider to function.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your specific situation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, All Things Simplified will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or relating to the software or these terms. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Termination
Your license ends if you materially breach these terms. On termination you must stop using and remove the software. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the products change. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page, and significant changes take effect when posted. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which All Things Simplified LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms are welcome through our contact page. For anything about a payment, a receipt, or a refund, Paddle's buyer support at paddle.com can often help fastest, since Paddle is the Merchant of Record for your order.
